Our Progression Timeline
The name Ja Durre’ comes from James Durrell and is pronounced (Jay-Dur-Ray). The concept of Ja Durre’ came in 1996 as a creative outlet for J.D. “Huez” Hughes. Soon the creative outlet quickly became a passion. Here’s the timeline of our business progression.
In 1999, we produced the first-generation logo t-shirt with the swirl representing the storm of life. In 2002, we manufactured the second-generation logo t-shirt; the J.D. inside the swirl represented James Durrell looking for peace.
In 2008, the company knitted a third-generation logo t-shirt. This logo was timeless and was the epitome of class and style.
In 2017, Ja Durre’ came up with the fourth-generation logo t-shirt, and its logo stretched for growth, following the decade-old legacy of timelessness, class, and style.
